Job Role (min 3 years of experience):
The role of the project manager is to manage multiple projects and to realize the project benefits by:
- Managing the project through the agreed project management methodology and project lifecycle based on best practice standards as prescribed by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK®).
- Managing project activities to ensure successful delivery of the product or solution within the agreed schedule, scope, budget and in agreed quality.
Key Performance Areas and Responsibilities:
- Manage stakeholder relationships, ensuring high levels of stakeholder satisfaction with project deliverables.
- Manage the business solution delivery of the project.
- Manage and motivate project team to deliver on time, within budget and to agreed quality standards.
- Stay abreast of latest project management techniques and trends.
- Manage project costs, budgets and delivery.
- Facilitate project initiation workshops and ensure comprehensive project plans are produced and agreed with all key stakeholders.
- Ensure all aspects of the project are tightly managed and controlled throughout the project life cycle.
- Vendor management including contracts, delivery and costs.
- Work closely with Line Management and ensure all project issues are communicated and that appropriate corrective actions are put in place.
- Manage performance of the team pertaining to the delivery of the project.
- Prepare and submit required reports tailored to the audience.
- Mobilise the project through project leadership, coaching, stakeholder management and support
